Hand on experience center next to Kuroshio Honjin. You can experience cooking Kochi’s local cuisine “Lightly roasted Bonito” and make dried fish from locally caught fish. There are two courses in the “Lightly roasted Bonito” experience. In the beginner course, you grill the bonito fish which has been sliced for cooking. At the junior course, you start from slicing the fish and then grill it. From the outdoor terrace, you can enjoy the scenic coastal view of the harbor and Kure township.
The experience courses are offered only during the of bonito fishing season of April through October.
Reservation is required. Seafood is sold here, and meals served also.
